The “World Travel Oscar” goes to … St. Petersburg! The city has won the title of the World’s Leading Cultural City Destination at the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2016. Moreover, it was named Europe`s leading tourist destination for the 2nd year running.
The ceremony took place at The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi in the Maldives with hundreds of industry leaders in attendance, and we will be glad to welcome all the guests next year in St. Petersburg, which will itself welcome the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony in summer 2017.
