The fascinating singer and composer Lara Fabian has already visited Russia numerous times and so in celebration of the last days of winter, she will warm our hearts with her, as ever, breathtaking performance. On the 27th of February 2018 in the Oktyabrsky BKZ, as part of the Camouflage world tour, Lara Fabian will perform songs from her new album as well as our beloved favourite hits.
Lara Fabian’s new tour will start in America and continue through Europe towards the end of February, touring in most major cities.
This now world famous singer released her first album simply named “Lara Fabian” in 1991 and has since taken the world by storm with singles such as “Qui Pense a l’Amour” and “Le Jour Ou Tu Partiras”. It was Lara Fabian’s romantic yet powerful repertoire that attracts listeners in the first place and has since not ever disappointed.
Lara’s first tour, based on her Anglophone repertoire, began in 1999 and compositions from this album, such as “Adagio”, “Love By Grace” and “Broken Vow” have often reached high places on Billboard charts and around the world. In 2004, when Lara first came to Russia she gave concerts at the Moscow International House of Music and was met with such great popularity that she has returned every year since.
At the end of 2009, Lara Fabian participated in the filming of the musical “Mademoiselle Zhivago” by Igor Krutoy. She performed all the compositions of course, even in English, Spanish or Italian. Although Lara Fabian’s performances are devoid of dancing, costumes or scenery, they are nonetheless mesmerizing. The singer usually enters the stage in a simple dress, keeping make-up and jewellery to a minimum. The audience is immediately taken and enthralled by her 4.1-octave voice and a piano.
The album Camouflage, written by Lara but co-authored by Moh Denebi and Sharon Vaughn, was released in fall 2017 and was Lara’s first original album in English in the last ten years.
At each and every one of her concerts, Lara turns it into a wonderful musical feast for her fans, each performance is an amazing show with a living sound and unique, spellbinding atmosphere.
