Welcome to the Autumn Festival of Lights!
The new multimedia performance will take place in Saint-Petersburg from 4th to 5th November 2017.
For two days, the Festival of Lights will be transforming Saint Petersburg’s main square and one of its famous historical monuments through light projections and multimedia art. This time the show will be dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Russian Revolution 1917. Palace Square and Aurora Cruiser were chosen not just by chance. One hundred years ago, the legendary battleship gave a blank shot to announce the start of the assault on the Winter Palace and the beginning of the October Revolution.
The key events of the Bolsheviks Revolution will be shown on the facades of the Winter Palace and the General Staff Building to move the spectators to 1917. The visitors will have a unique opportunity to take a picture with fabulous view of the main square of Saint Petersburg and to witness the event that changed the history of the World.
The historical monuments will be illuminated during two evenings on November 4-5, 2017, from 19:00 to 23:00.
Location: Palace Square, Petrogradskaya emb, “Aurora” Cruiser.
Entrance: Free.
