Winter walk

Family of 4, and are so pleased we booked with Valeria. Customised tours over 2 full days with flexibility to add in some extras. Picked up in a 7 seater van with driver and Valeria as the guide. We went straight into the tour driving around St Petersburgh, followed by the full tour of all the places on our itinerary. Winter Palace was great with Valeria taking us to the parts we were interested in, you can spend days in the Hermitage so I suggest you let her know what you are interested in. We loved the Romanov history and Valeria made the 2 days focus on the Tsars and Royal history including the Yusopov palace where Rasputin was killed. We visited Peter & Paul Fortress, Church Spilled blood and the Tsars village with the amazing St Catherine Palace which was WoW. (Note if you do not book with a tour guide you wait wait till midday to get in and them may still have to queue for 4 hours and that's out of season.
Wherever we went, whatever we saw Valeria's passion and knowledge was very apparent, in fact astonishing to be frank.
If you want to do a lot in a few days, save up your money and book with Valeria, its well worth the money.

We just spent two days on a private tour of Saint Petersburg
We were so lucky to have had Anastasia as our guide and Sergei as our driver
Anastasia’s command of English was excellent ...she had an amazing knowledge of the history of the city this topped with her love of it led to an amazing time
Sergei managed to drop us off right outside every place and then picked us up right on cue
Anastasia’s passion if art shine again with our tour of the Hermitage ; leaving us in awe of the place

Our two day tour of St Petersburg was an experience beyond our expectations. We visited all of the most noteworthy places of interest in the city and Peterhof. Our guide Lola and driver Kamil were most friendly and always punctual. Lola's knowledge of local history and her clarity in explaining things were very much appreciated. It was a pleasure to be in their company.

We cannot rate St Petersburg Guided Tours high enough. From the first time we made online contact with Valeria to meeting our excellent & very very knowledgeable tour guide Anista & chauffeur Maxim. Our wonderful tour guide & chauffeur even recommended & drove us to a local lunch restaurant for delicious local food fare, greatly appreciated. We took an incredible 2-day private tour seeing all of the highlights of St. Petersburg including the fabulous Hermitage, Faberge Museum, Amber Room, Church of the Saviour of Spilled Blood, Peter & Paul Fortress, Catherine Palace and much more. Our tour guide Valeria and driver Alexi were excellent and entertained us the entire time. Valeria was very knowledgeable and professional with a wonderful sense of humour. We had a fantastic tour going to all of the sights . I have a mobility issue and the pace was perfect and we would highly recommend Valeria and Alexi. St. Petersburg is absolutely beautiful!. Our guide and driver were amazing at avoiding the crowds.

Not sure what to expect, but we were very excited to head to Russia, and explore St Petersburg. Looking back, there is no way we would have been able to experience so much (and so much of the good stuff) without our talented, fearless and passionate guide - Valeria.

We were a small group (4) and Valeria and her ever-ready driver had our utmost enjoyment in mind while we were getting the most out of our experience. Usually, I enjoy traveling by myself, or with friends. Tours - not so much. However, I can not recommend Valeria enough to anybody looking to explore the most popular destinations and sites of St Petersburg (wait till you see Valeria handle crowds of people and somehow manage to get you to the front of the line!) and also local markets and restaurants the locals know about as she is both passionate for and native to this remarkable city. Her English is excellent and her Russian accent, "most wonderful".

My visit to St. Petersburg was for history, museums and general tourism.Valeria my guide from St. Petersburg Guided Tours asked, first what do I want to see. I stated the two world war museums, The Romanovs and the rest what you think I should see. Therefore did the most favourable sights and was impressed by her knowledge. If you are interested in a subject, before arriving have a look on line to gain some knowledge. Then write basic details as you go. Makes things clearer but you cannot help but be impressed by the city.
