A great event for all locals and guests of Saint-Petersburg – the Festival of Icebreakers organized by government of Saint-Petersburg and Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation will take place on April 29th and 30th.
Several exhibitions and entertainment zones will be arranged for visitors including some cultural and educational programs, film shows and musical concerts.
The program of the festival:
April 29th (Sunday), 11.00 – 19.00
The first day will be dedicated to the icebreaking fleet and sailors, travelling in the northern seas.
You will have opportunity to visit interactive grounds of the festival, musical programs, go on board icebreakers and see them from the inside.
12.00 – the opening ceremony of the festival, parade in the the Neva River.
30 April (Monday), 11.00 – 19.00
The second day schedule includes a musical and entertaining program dedicated to the seaport of Saint-Petersburg, to the shipyards constucting icebreakers and to the naval science.
You will be able to join interactive activities of the festival, concert programs, visits the icebreakers.
