Embellish® Sticky Printable Template is a non-woven, design placement, printable paper used to print embroidery software design templates at the actual size. The 8.5” x 11” sheets are reusable and repositionable and must be printed ONE SHEET AT A TIME on an ink-jet printer, laser printer or a copy machine. Embellish® Sticky Printable Template is lightweight, so you can see the fabric underneath. This product was designed to print and audition the embroidery placement before stitching. It’s perfect for use on wearables, collars, cuffs, corners, quilt blocks or anywhere design placement and accuracy is critical. It’s the ideal hooping guide for intricate patterns, border or continuous designs, and the best companion when used along with your machines centering and alignment features. This product is not made to be sewn, embroidered, washed, or ironed.

To Use:

1. Remove any copy paper in your printer tray. Manually feed ONE SHEET AT A TIME. Do not stack multiple sheets in the printer feed tray.
2. From your embroidery software program, print the design on the fibrous side of the Embellish® Sticky Printable Template. Trim the paper as desired and mark TOP to indicate the top of the design and hoop.
3. Peel off the paper backing (reserve for storage) and audition the design on the fabric or garment.
4. Use the appropriate stabilizer and machine’s centering and alignment features to hoop and align the design in the desired location.Tip – Try using a sticky stabilizer such as Embellish® Sticky Tearaway or Embellish® Sticky Rinse-Away Mesh for easy hooping and manipulation. Remember to machine-baste the fabric to the stabilizer, after removing the template, if using a sticky stabilizer.
5. REMOVE THE TEMPLATE before embroidering. Store the template on the shiny side of the paper backing for reuse.

Embellish® Premium Fusible Batting is deluxe batting with a permanent, fusible coating. It is super soft, luxurious, and made from premium high-quality polyester without added fillers or solid particles. The fusible coating won’t shadow through on light color fabric or produce dimples on the fabric surface. Because the fuse is permanent, it isn’t necessary to quilt the fabric. The soft, flexible batting is perfect for embroidered quilts, T-shirt quilts, table runners, garments, home décor, quilted jackets, purses, bags and more. One batting gives you two different looks:

• Modern Quilts: Pre-wash your fabric before fusing.
• Vintage Weathered Quilts: Don’t pre-wash your fabric before fusing. After the quilt is complete, wash for gentle shrinkage and weathering.

To Use:

1. Cut a piece one inch larger than fabric and place the fusible side (textured side) to the wrong side of the fabric and press.Important – Use a low temp, dry (Wool Setting) on your iron. Do NOT touch the surface of your iron to Embellish® Premium Fusible Batting, press from the fabric side, or use a press cloth (natural fibers such as muslin or cotton). All irons heat differently. The iron temperature given is a starting point. If you find that you are not getting a good fuse, slowly increase your iron’s temperature until you achieve a good bond between the fabric and batting. **Note – Steam will cause slight shrinkage in the batting and the fabric if they have not been pre-shrunk.
2. Traditional Quilting: Machine or hand quilt/embellish as desired. However, It is not necessary to quilt, as the fusible coating forms a permanent bond with the fabric.
3. In-the-Hoop Quilting: Place one layer of Embellish® Soft Cutaway in the embroidery hoop along with the fabric fused with Embellish® Premium Fusible Batting.

Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper is for use on the top surface of high pile fabrics such as: burlap, cuddle, fleece, low-pile fake fur, terry cloth, towels, velvet, and textured fabric. Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper is used on top of the item in the embroidery hoop. It keeps the thread elevated and prevents it from sinking into the fabric fiber. Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper acts as a “spacer” on top of the fabric, so the thread remains raised on top of the material. This topper remains embedded under the thread and prevents the fabric nap from poking through after multiple wash and dry cycles. It is also perfect for keeping decorative satin stitches raised when sewing. We also have a rinse-away topper.

To Use:

1. Place one piece of Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper on the surface of the hooped item, bumpy side touching the fabric, and secure the outer corners with RNK® Embroidery Perfection Tape or machine-baste to prevent movement.Important – Do not use Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper underneath appliqué fabric.
2. Embroider the design.

To Remove:

1. Remove as much of the topper as possible by tearing it away.
2. To remove the Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper in tight spaces, use the Embellish® Vinyl Weeding Tool. This works great inside of small lettering, reducing hand fatigue.
3. Use the tip of an iron set at a low temp (Silk Setting) to remove any remaining topper. The tip of the iron must come in direct contact with the topper to remove it.

Caution – Using a high setting on the iron will cause the topper to liquefy and melt into the design. Test on a scrap piece of fabric to find the ideal iron temperature.

The Embellish Heat Transfer Foil is a one-step process and easy to use. No need to buy a separate adhesive sheet. Our adhesive is built into the foil.  Simply cut, weed and press with an iron or heat press for a permanent, shiny finish.  Machine washable and dry cleanable.

Each roll includes one 19” x 24” foil sheet and is available in 10 vibrant colors:

Blue – (ETF-BLUE)

Embellish Heat Transfer Foil comes with a built-in clear heat resistant pressing sheet. The foil is heat activated. When cutting this product, you want to achieve a “kiss cut”. This means that your digital cutter settings need to be adjusted so you only cut through the foil layer and not through the clear sheet.
After applying the foil to your garment, allow it to cool completely before peeling away the clear heat resistant pressing sheet.

1. Design an image using Embellish Maker or Craft N Cut Software. Before exporting the file, flip the artwork horizontally or mirror image and then export the cut fi le using Save2Cut (an exclusive feature found in Craft N Cut Software).  Save2Cut will generate perfect cut settings like the blade depth, cut speed and cut pressure.
2. Place the foil shiny side (clear heat transfer pressing sheet) down on your cutting mat and use our Embellish Scraper (coming soon!) to remove the air bubbles starting from the center moving out.
3. Cut the design.
4. Use our Embellish Weeding Tool (Coming soon!) to remove the background foil and discard. Leave the design on the clear heat resistant pressing sheet.
5. Set heat press or iron to 295°/146°C. Pre-press the garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture. Place your design with clear heat resistant pressing sheet on top. Press directly on the garment, over the clear heat resistant pressing sheet for 10-12 seconds with a medium pressure. Allow to cool completely and slowly remove one corner of the clear pressing sheet to check that the foil has adhered to your garment. If it has, slowly remove and discard the pressing sheet. If it hasn’t, press again for another 10-12 seconds.
6. Wash and wear. Do not iron over the foil. If you are ironing the garment cover the foil with a non-stick pressing cloth.

Use Embellish® Fusible Underlay Bold to “prep” the fabric and then stabilize with Embellish® Fusible Tearaway Bold – a perfect combination for high density embellishments! Try our lesser weight version, Embellish® Fusible Underlay, for lighter applications.

Which one do I choose? Embellish® Fusible Underlay or Embellish® Fusible Underlay Bold? Here is an example to answer the question. If you are creating a lightweight, embroidered, summer jacket using silk fabric, you will want the jacket to hang nicely and not be bulky. For the front, back and sleeves, a good choice is to fuse the yardage of silk with Embellish® Fusible Underlay. Embroider and embellish the yardage and then cut out the pattern pieces. Now, for the collar and cuffs, a good choice is to use Embellish® Fusible Underlay Bold to add more structure, as you usually see in ready-to-wear.

This product is used when creating appliqué designs for sewing, machine embroidery, and digital cutting. The webbing is machine washable, dry cleanable and leaves a soft, flexible hand to your fabric without adding bulk. The light, tacky coating is needlefriendly, and the paper backing adheres to all digital cutting mats. This exclusive product is perfect for nonsewing projects because the fusible creates a permanent bond with the material. Use it on anything that can take the heat of an iron. Make quick projects such as: no-sew appliqué baby onesies or iron shapes to paper bags or cardstock for fun party favors.

To Use:

1. Pre-heat the fabric using a medium/high temp (Wool Setting, No Steam) to prep the fabric and remove moisture. It is also recommended to pre-wash the fabric (no softener or dryer sheets) being used as an appliqué to remove any sizing. This will ensure a good bond.
2. Fuse the webbing to the wrong side of the fabric using a medium/high temp (Wool Setting, No Steam) on your iron. The fusible side of Embellish® Foolproof Repositionable Webbing is the soft/shiny side. Hold the iron in place for 10 seconds, let the fabric cool and then flip the piece over and press again on the fabric side for another 10 seconds. Make sure you have a good bond. If not, repeat the fusing process for 5 seconds on each side instead of 10 seconds. Let the fabric cool before using.Important – All irons heat differently. The iron temperature given is a starting point. If you find that you are not getting a good fuse, slowly increase your iron’s temperature until you achieve a good bond between the fabric and the webbing. Using too high a temp can cause the permanent bond to activate prematurely before it adheres the fabric.
3. Cut with scissors, a fabric die or a digital cutter (place the paper side down on the digital cutting mat).
4. Draw an “X” on the release paper backing, using the Embellish® Vinyl Weeding Tool. This will perforate the paper so it can easily be torn away, exposing the sticky surface.
5. Position the appliqué piece on the garment and fuse with the iron, using a medium/high temp (Wool Setting, No Steam). Hold the iron over the fabric for 10 seconds. Let the material cool.
6. Finish by stitching around the appliqué with a satin stitch, decorative stitch or in-the-hoop.

Embellish® Sticky Rinse-Away Mesh is a dense fibrous, water-soluble stabilizer with a light, sticky dissolvable coating and is used for items that are distinguished as “hard to hoop” or fabrics that could be harmed/ marked by the hooping process such as: baby onesies, necklines, collars, and cuffs. Embellish® Sticky Rinse- Away Mesh washes away clean with no messy residue and is excellent for supporting embroidery on delicate and sheer fabrics such as: batiste, chiffon, netting, organdy, organza, tulle, voile and sheer scarfs. The added adhesive prevents the fabric from shifting while embroidering, resulting in perfect outline stitches. Unlike other water-soluble stabilizers that are clear, the mesh properties of this stabilizer are not prone to stretching from embroidering dense designs with heavy needle penetration. Also available in a non-sticky version, Embellish® Rinse-Away Mesh.

To Use:

1. Hoop one piece of Embellish® Sticky Rinse-Away Mesh with the release paper (shiny side) facing up.
2. Draw an “X” on the surface with the Embellish® Vinyl Weeding Tool, taking care not to puncture the stabilizer. This will perforate the release paper so it can easily be torn away, exposing the sticky surface.
3. Finger-press the wrong side of the item to the sticky surface and smooth out the wrinkles.
4. If the design has more than 12,000 stitches in a 4” x 4” hoop, “float” a piece of Embellish® Rinse-Away Mesh under the hoop for added support. *Note – If sticking down a garment such as a baby onesie or T-Shirt, prep the piece with the proper/recommended Embellish® stabilizer before sticking it down.
5. It is recommended to slow the speed of your machine to “600” stitches per minute.
6. Add an embroidery topper on top of the hooped item (either Embellish® Rinse-Away Clear Topper or Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper).
7. Embroider the design. If your machine has an auto-baste function, it is recommended to baste the design and topper before embroidering.

To Remove:

1. Remove the material from the hoop.
2. Pull back and trim away as much of the stabilizer as possible.
3. Soak the material in room temperature, soft water and change the water often until all the stabilizer and adhesive dissolves. Once the stabilizer and adhesive are dissolved, do a final rinse under room temperature, running water.

Important – It is necessary to use “soft” water to get optimal rinse results. If your water is hard or has high mineral deposits, it may be necessary to add a water softener to the bath while soaking your garment.

Embellish® Sticky Tearaway is a pressure sensitive, needle-friendly, light tearaway stabilizer made using the “Non-Woven” technique. Our unique base material is constructed with a combination of 50% soft tearaway fibers and 50% water-soluble fibers, making it very easy to remove from delicate embroidery or embellishments. Use this premium sticky stabilizer when working with items that are distinguished as “hard to hoop” or fabrics that could be harmed/marked by the hooping process such as: collars, cuffs, socks, corners, burlap, cardstock, corduroy, cork fabric, cuddle, jeggings, leather, low-pile fur, oilcloth, towels, watercolor paper and velvet. This is the ideal “vehicle” for getting smaller items under the needle for embellishment such as: baby onesies, pockets, T-Shirts, etc. Use our non-sticky version, Embellish® Dissolvable Tearaway, when additional design support is needed by floating a piece under the embroidery hoop. This is necessary when the design stitch count is more than 10,000 stitches in a 4”x 4” hoop.

3. Finger-press the wrong side of the item to the sticky surface and smooth out the wrinkles. 4. If the design has more than 10,000 stitches in a 4” x 4” hoop, “float” a piece of Embellish® Dissolvable Tearaway under the hoop for added support.
4. Add an embroidery topper on top of the hooped item (either Embellish® Rinse-Away Clear Topper or Embellish® Iron-Away Clear Topper).
5. Embroider the design. If your machine has an auto-baste function, it is recommended to baste the design and topper before embroidering.

To Remove:

1. Remove the material from the hoop.
2. Hold your fingers over the bobbin thread and tear away as much of the stabilizer as possible, starting with the “floater.”
3. Optional Method – Wet around the edge of the design using a Q-Tip, sponge, foam paint brush or envelope sealer. Wait about 5 seconds to allow the water to activate the water-soluble portion of the stabilizer. Or, lay a damp cloth on the back side until fibers start to dissolve. This method is perfect for a project that you are not going to launder.

Laundering and Care:

Launder and dry the item according to the fabric material fiber content. Stabilizer remnants will continue to wash out in the laundry with a mild detergent and agitation.
