The General staff building is located on the central square of St.Petersburg, Palace Square.
The eastern wing of the building is a part of the Hermitage Museum with the collection of the French Impressionists. The facade of the building quite often serves as a screen for multimedia art performances.
Interesting fact: The facade of the Gereral Staff Building is the longest in Europe.
